Episode 1

Haley and Anne, two teachers on two different coasts, kick off their podcast with an introduction of themselves, how this podcast came to be, and the format for future episodes.

As we kick off Advent, Anne and Haley talk about the HOPE for the season, their Advent traditions, and how we can find HOPE in the ordinary.

The Baptism of the Lord comes at a time with our country needs a baptism – REBIRTH – as well. Anne talks about Mark Shriver’s book on Pope Francis and his pilgrimage, and Haley shares her pilgrim experiences as well.

 
 

Episode 9

As we reflect on MLK Jr Day, and recent racial events, Haley & Anne agree this is no “ordinary time,” the place we find ourselves in the Liturgical calendar. Speaking of Justice and Mercy, and keeping in mind another great advocate for Civil Rights: Fr. Ted Hesburgh.

As Haley reflects on the 29th anniversary of the Notre Dame swim team bus accident, she also reflects on the 60th anniversary of the election of our 1st Catholic president, as we inaugurated our 2nd Catholic president, which was barely mentioned. Why?
